Templates & app exchange
Quickbase makes it easy for any user to get started building a new application or workflow — regardless of their technical skill.
The Exchange includes a diverse collection of builder resources:
- Applications
- Formulas
- Jinja snippets
Each of these is provided by Quickbase, Quickbase partners, or other customers. They can provide some inspiration or give you a head start in your building.
Applications
The Exchange includes a diverse collection of template apps, across a range of industries and use cases.
Using an application from the Exchange is simple:
- Choose an app.
- Click install.
- You're now the full owner and manager of the app. Customize it to your needs or use it as is.
Formulas
The Exchange also includes many pre-built formulas. Formulas can be used for:
- Calculations
- Driving workflow
- Visual customization of your app
To use a formula from the exchange, simply click Install and follow the steps in the wizard.
Jinja snippets
The Quickbase Exchange also provides many Jinja code snippets. These snippets are used to drive custom business logic for workflows.
To use a Jinja snippet from Exchange
- Create a workflow using our Pipelines feature.
- Identify the point in the flow where the Jinja snippet is needed. Then, copy and paste the code from the Exchange into your workflow.
- Make changes to the Jinja code or use it as-is.
